TROUBLES I HAVE FACED, BUT GOD…TRUSTING GOD AMIDST TROUBLES
June will feature Devotionals written by our GBFC Youth. It is good to read godly inspiration from our youth. Be encouraged by God's Word working in the hearts of our young people.
SCRIPTURE: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
When faced with the overwhelming burden of depression during high school, it’s easy to lose sight of hope and feel lost in the darkness. However, even during our deepest struggles, we can find solace in trusting God. He knows the troubles we face and is ready to help us overcome them. Though depression may make it difficult to see a way out, remember that God’s plans for you are never hindered by your circumstances. Trusting in Him means relying on His wisdom rather than your own understanding. Lean on His promises, knowing that He will guide you through the darkest moments and lead you to a place of light and healing.
PRAYER: Dear God, during my troubles, I choose to trust You. Help me release my burdens and lean on Your understanding. Guide me through this challenging season and lead me on the path of healing. Thank You for being my source of strength and hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Mekhia, Amen and amen. We hope in and trust God in and through the trials. God is fighting for us and will deliver us.
Amen. The Lord is there when you feel forsaken or shut off from the mainstream. He promised never to leave you nor forsake you. Trust and obey, for there is no other way. God is bigger than any circumstance or situation that confronts us.
Oh hallelujah. That is my comfort- no matter my trial, my God is always there. Thank You Jesus.
