WHAT GOD HAS SHOWN ME: How God Wants Me To Treat Others
June will feature Devotionals written by our GBFC Youth. It is good to read godly inspiration from our youth. Be encouraged by God's Word working in the hearts of our young people.
SCRIPTURE: “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:9-10 NIV
God wants me to love my neighbor as much as I love myself. He wants us to do this because He loves us and we should love each other too. Playing a sport is one way God has challenged me to do this. You have to bond with teammates that have very different personalities than you. So I try to help all my teammates just like I would want them to help me.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me be kind to people who are different from me. Please make me caring and compassionate like Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
