TROUBLES I HAVE FACED, BUT GOD… SPRING SEMESTER
Throughout the month of June we will feature Devotionals written by our GBFC Youth. May your hearts be encouraged by what the Lord's Word is doing in the hearts of our young people.
SCRIPTURE: “But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, 'Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.' 41 And Jesus answered and said to her, 'Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.'” Luke 10:40-42
Where is my focus? When Dealing with a tough spring semester, God sat me down and forced me to see Him. Through an injury in my spring season, God showed me what was more important, my life or His purpose? God forced me to take the time out of my day and seek Him.
PRAYER: God, I pray that You would never take Your hands off me. God please put me in places, so that the world can see Your glory through me. Heavenly Father, please help me keep my mind on You despite all the worldly distractions. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Amen. We all get those wake up calls where by God's grace we grow and know Him differently. That's a good thing.
