What You Require of Us

Weekends in the month of December will be devoted to scripture and prayer! Weekly devotions will resume Mondays through Fridays in December. Join us in  Word and Prayer!
Scripture: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
Prayer: Our eternal God and our gracious Father in Heaven again this morning we bow our hearts before Your throne of grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.  As we bow Father, we recognize our dependence upon You. We desire that the Holy Spirit would fill us that we may have enlightenment from the holy Scriptures. That the Word of God would do a work in us that brings pleasure to Your sight. That You might help us in tearing down every stronghold and every bit of knowledge that exalts itself against You. That our hearts would be made pure as we are convicted and that You might cause us Lord to know more and more about what You require of us. We ask Your favor upon (us) that (we) might speak in accordance to the oracles that You have given unto us. We will give You praise and thanks for whatever is accomplished for we ask it all in Jesus name, AMEN!
