Walk This Way

Scripture: Micah 6:8 - He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
A righteous walk is painful, hopeful, and rewarding
However, it is written that my story ends with glory
Conditions aren’t surprising because the Lord is in control
His plans for me were set before the foundation of the world
So, why am I out of control as matters mysteriously unfold?
Nothing should have the power to alter my called and ordained role
Lord, I’m calling on You for my agenda and to keep me company
Establishing clarity and direction to discover what You want from me
What needs to be added, what needs to be removed
What needs to be nurtured, and what needs to improve
Certainly, I will never be alone, while walking the streets of life
Although, I may go left at times, my Lord will lead me right
If I walk with the world, I can’t walk with God
Preparing for short cuts, but blessings are far
So, as I walk the path of righteousness day by day
Many roads appear right, but the truth says, walk this way
Prayer: Walking with You Lord bring so much hope. Yet, I make so many fleshly detours. Forgive me Lord! Walk with me Lord! I can’t do this alone. Teach me how to do right. Reveal what’s pleasing to You. And I will humbly and carefully give You all the praise and glory. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
