No Room for Excuses

Scripture: 1 John 5:1-4 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Where I start has nothing to do with where I’m going
Only He knows the hope, future, and destiny I’m holding
Jesus came into the world from no place
Therefore, He can meet anyone at any time at any place
We can’t blame or say if it weren’t for her, him, they, or them
We can’t say if it weren’t for background, circumstances, or events
It’s all about who we rely on rather than what we are using
Greater is He who is in me, than he who is in the world has been proven
So, in the name of Jesus, my journey is anointed and exclusive
No longer am I a victim because there’s no room for excuses
Our Lord came from no hope, no opportunity, and no way out
He persevered trauma, agony, suffering, and death throughout
So, even when things appear worthless
I think about our debts that were purchased
My relationship with Jesus Christ makes you an overcomer
There is no room for excuses because of my Holy comforter
Prayer: Only the Lord can make a way out of no way. There is no challenge before me that require an excuse. I have everything I need in Christ to overcome, conquer, or defeat evil and the evil one. I will seek first the Kingdom of God in my matters. When issues arise, I will choose Your truth to sustain me. Lord, keep me! I will be careful to give You all the glory in Your Son’s name.
