Never Say Never!

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:9 HCSB - But as it is written: What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind – God prepared this for those who love Him.
How many times have you said something will never happen … then when it doesn’t, you seem to be caught off guard? What’s the saying – NEVER SAY NEVER!! Yep, it’s true. Our own sinful ways cause us to believe this lie, over and over again. When we say something will never happen, we put God in a box! We may not realize it, but we are trying to limit God’s power at work in us. We are lessening our chances of having a supernatural encounter with Him that will change our entire lives!
Our Father loves to prove us wrong … He loves to prove His love for us! Every time we doubt Him and His ability to do something, we tell God that His grace is not sufficient; we tell Him that His strength is not made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We say we are giving up – we are fainting before we reap! (Galatians 6:9)
While we wait on God, we have to put our hope and trust in Him! We set our hopes on the One who is the Everlasting God! We apply His Word for our lives to the very situation we are in. We don’t allow what we are going through to drive us away from Him – we run to Him! We seek His face … sitting still in His presence, allowing Him to speak to us. We have to let go of what we think should happen and what we want to happen. He has the final say! We just have to trust Him!
So take heed! God’s Word tells us that He acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him (Isaiah 64:4). He has greater in store for us! He has a purpose for all the pain we go through, a message that will come from our mess(es). He cares for us like no other! Seeing our heart’s desire come to fruition may not happen overnight, but we can trust God to see us through, to guide us to His best for us. And while we wait for Him to answer/deliver us, we ask for spiritual eyes to see what it is He wants to show us as we trust His process.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we are nothing without You! NOTHING! If not for Your grace, where would we be? Thank You for Your grace! Thank You for Your lovingkindness toward us! Thank You for Your tender mercies! Thank You for blotting out our transgressions! Thank You for washing us thoroughly from our iniquities and cleansing us from our sins! We acknowledge You as Sovereign! We thank You for showing us who we really are – unmasked and flawed! We thank You that You never ever fail! You right every wrong, You make every crooked path straight. You complete that which You have started, and we are eternally grateful and thankful for it ALL! In Jesus’ Name we always pray … AMEN!

Amen....Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies I see.
Amen, Thank you, Jesus, for getting me and my family through a challenging year with the loss of family members, fires, and depression. I gave up because I felt my prayers weren't being heard and no one cared. satan is a liar, I have hope again and things are improving God has heard my prayers. So I thank you for this message. And I thank the lord for getting me through the pain. Thank you Lord for new mercies and a great morning.
Amen. Amen! Thank you, Jesus. I read this devotion through tears. What a friend I have in Jesus. He gave me 66 books called the Bible, that I might know His will, and experience His love for me. Hallelujah Lord.
