Turn Back to Christ (Repent)

Scripture: Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

The world has turned completely away from the Lord
Man’s standards have taken precedence, while the truth is avoided

It’s the popular stance that really matters
Our pursuit of the Lord is less than flattering

Meanwhile, the world is caught up on what offends everyone
However, we should be more concerned about, what offends the Son

Therefore, the popular views are based around our feelings
Ultimately the final say has become the world’s opinions

So, the Lord’s biblical truth has become meaningless
Yet, the first step to spiritual alignment is recognizing our sinfulness

Saints! Purity is more sacred than pleasure
Holiness is beyond intelligence, emotions, and worldly endeavors

We are wishing upon stars for power and strength
Rather than seeking and pleasing the One Who created this

So, with urgency, turn back to Christ while receiving a spirit renewed
Man says, show me and I’ll trust you, the Lord says, trust Me and I’ll show you

Prayer: Lord, its You grace and mercy that even allow us to turn back and repent. Your faithfulness, despite our sin is mind blowing. You are worthy to be praise! Even though this world and even in the church is in disarray, You are in control. Fix what’s broken. Be with us Lord! I come to You in the name of Jesus, Amen!
