Lawlessness and Hatred

Scripture:  Matthew 24:4-8 -  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

When I look at the world today, all I see is lawlessness and hatred.  People are killing each other for no reason.  I know that the world is coming to an end.  This particular scripture speaks of the first half of the tribulation period, which if you are a believer, will not be here.  But it seems like we’re living in that period now.  It’s going to get worse.  Every time I turn on the news, it really depresses me, and I turn it off.  Not only killing but there is perverse living.  People don’t care.  They are living in sin.  It’s all over the television, in movies, commercials and everywhere.  We have false prophets.  They are not preaching the word of God.  We have preachers in the pulpits agreeing with everything the world says, leading their congregation to hell.  People are not reading, studying, or even meditating upon God’s Word to know what He says about living.  Are we not teaching our children as it says in Deuteronomy?

We are living in perilous times. Are you ready when the trumpet sounds.  Have you given the Lord your heart?  Romans 10:9 says “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe n your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”  You don’t want to be left behind with all of this lawlessness and hatred.  Like I said, it will be worse.  I’m always thinking of my relatives who are lost.  I pray for them every day, and when I have a chance, I witness to them.  Some don’t want to hear it, but some do.  I just plant the seed and sometimes I water or someone else, and we know God gives the increase.  I don’t want any of my relatives or friends to be left behind.  Some people think we are in hell now.  They are so wrong.  In hell you won’t be able to get a cold dr4ink of water like you can now.  Go figure!

I’m so glad that Jesus saved my soul one day!

Prayer:  Dear Lord, I thank you for saving my soul.  I do ask that you would convict the hearts of my relatives and friends that they may accept Jesus in their hearts so that they would not be left behind.  I ask this in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
