Convicted 24/7

Scripture: John 3:19–21 - And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

Convictions are rooted in the heart
Directing paths by flashing light on what’s dark

The times I feel uncertain, doubtful, or ignorant
The Lord shows mercy and grace by convicting me

Providing access to the answers for His test
Cultivating discernment by revealing what’s best

His conditions and demands often cause me inconvenience
However, conviction provides hope as I purpose to be obedient

Continuing to rely on His divine resources
The Holy Spirit is always working as righteous reinforcement

My assignments and duties are nonnegotiable
Suffering may be involved, but His healing is suitable

Conviction detects distractions to protect my anointing
His chastening and faithfulness co-sign the endorsement

As trouble lurks to impair convictions
I serve beyond the flesh, Satan, theories, and human predictions

Prayer: I’m so thankful for the Holy Spirit. I don’t have to look for it, pay for it, or fix it. It’s available at all times. I can’t live this life alone. I need Your Spirit to govern me. Lord, continue to bring to my attention what’s wrong or right in Your eyes. Thank You for convicting me. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen
