Just Saying Thank You Isn’t Enough

Scripture: II Corinthians 5:21 -  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

THANK YOU THANK YOU  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU  THANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOU  THANK YOU THANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUTHANK YOU THANK YOU   THANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOU THANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOU THANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

The phrase thank you isn’t a strong enough phrase to cover the gratitude that should be felt for the sacrifice of Christ dying on the cross for us.

THANK YOUMERCI DANKE SHUKRAN XIE XIE TODA GRAZIE DANKIE ARIGATO SPASIBO ISTUTIYASANTE TAK KAWP-KUN  THANK YOU.

No matter the language, the sentiment is the same. Thank you is the expression that acknowledges gratitude. However, it is not a strong enough phrase to cover the love it took to become sin for us. What greater love has a man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). I ask you if a man sacrificed his life for yours, you’d say thank you, but you’d say it with tears, emotion, and extreme gratitude because just a simple thank you isn’t strong enough to express the amount of gratitude needed to show how grateful you are for Him saving your life. Thank you doesn’t cover the love Jesus showed toward us (Romans 5:8). Thank you doesn’t cover the pain that was felt when Jesus died for us (Isaiah 53:5) Thank you doesn’t cover the cost for the gift that was given when Christ paid our debt in full on the cross (Romans 6:23). Christ died and rose so that we might live. So, don’t just say thank you verbally say it in how you live your life for Christ. Let your life represent your gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice.

Prayer: Lord, thank You seems so small for the great thing You did for us, but yet it is all we have. It doesn’t matter how it is said, it still means the same and it still doesn’t cover the gratitude felt. Nonetheless, Lord, I thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, Your provision, Your protection, and Your forgiveness. Where would I be without You but lost, broken, and alone. Thank You for Your sacrifice, Your patience, and Your Understanding. Lord, You are awesome, You are Wonderful, and Your Love is boundless. Thank You, Lord for sacrificing Your only begotten Son to cover my sins. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
