Dream Killers

Scripture: Genesis 37:19-20 - Then they said to one another, “Look, this dreamer is coming! 20 Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!”


I am highly favored as a master of dreams
An exclusive gift for His chosen redeemed

Not all possess this special and unique favor
Often, there’s resentment or jealousy from observing neighbors

The Lord speaks and disperse His visions through His chosen person
Dreams aren’t influenced by works, status, or whether we’re deserving

The dreams He has for me are not for everyone
In fact, others may not be able to handle what’s to come

Others, wanting and coveting what’s in my dream bag
Focusing on what the Lord has for me rather than what they have

People deliberately attempting to throw me in a pit overtime
This animosity, contempt, and hatred can result into a crime

Here comes the attacks, slander, lies, envy, and confusion
My private dreams expect public persecution and scrutiny

Dream killers are meant to distract, slow down, or ruin God’s vision
His plan can’t be stopped, so there’s an attempt to hinder the mission

Therefore, those who plot to assassinate my position as a dreamer
No weapon formed against me shall prosper, because of my redeemer

Prayer:  Lord, continue to bless me with the discernment to see dream killers. Each are custom made by the evil one to attract my weaknesses and feelings. Each are cunning, not honest! Each are quiet, not loud! Each are patient, not eager. Lord, strengthen me from potential burdens and strongholds. You told me that if I keep my mind on You, I will have perfect peace. Strengthen me Father! I will be careful to give You all the glory, in the name of Jesus.
