Calling All Christians

Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-13 - 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

The body of Christ is made up of believers with a divine assignment
A chosen people with biblical instructions and spiritual requirements

Christians have an exclusive calling on their lives
Accepting the passenger’s role, while the Lord drives

A Christian’s mission aligns with a kingdom agenda
No longer we live for self with worldly addendums

Many are in misery because they refuse to serve in ministry
Pursuing selfish endeavors rather than their called responsibilities

We were uniquely made for His glory to be desired and displayed
We were given gifts for ministry, not for personal success or gain

Yet, our lifestyles reflect being happy and comfortable with convenience
Avoiding any discomfort or suffering, while settling with disobedience

The divine protocol is the Lord, others, and then myself
My protocol is me, myself, and I, yet praying for God’s help

The Lord still is merciful by giving me warning after warning
Allowing me to confess and repent before moving forward

Believers are deceived that the Lord is grieving unbelievers for missing the mark
But, He is calling all Christians and His church to fulfill their body of Christ part

Therefore, choose to place the Lord in His rightful place, first
Obey your calling through righteous deeds, ministry, and service

Prayer:  Forgive us Lord! We pity the world. Yet, we continue to miss the mark. We are called to serve You. Unbelievers wouldn’t know any better. You’ve given us our commands and biblical instructions. Yet, we continue to live for ourselves from the time we wake up, until the time we go to bed. Forgive us Father! Renew in us a new spirit. Redirect our deeds and actions. Allow Your light to be seen through Your obedient servant. Have mercy on us Lord. We are asking this in the name of Jesus.

Amen! The puzzle is only complete once all the pieces are rightly put. Then it's message will be as intended. Lord let my hopes and dreams honor Your intentions, I pray.
