He Has the Whole World in His Hand

Scriptures: Exodus 15:6 - Your right hand, O LORD has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD has dashed the enemy in pieces

 1 Chronicles 29:11-13 -  Yours O LORD, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head over all. (v12) Both riches and honor come from You and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand is to make great and to give strength to all. (v13) Now therefore, our GOD We thank you and praise Your glorious name.
Isaiah 49:16(a) - See I have inscribed you on the palm of my hands.

What assurance, what peace is before us when we as believers take hold of this profound truth, Jesus has it all in His hand. The hand of the GOD who formed us is still upon us. The hands of our GOD that were pierced for us is still with us. The hand that continue to keeps us is still with us.

 Colossians 1:16-18 gives us full assurance that Jesus has this sinful world in HIS hand. (v16) For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. (v17)  And He is before all things and in Him all things consist. (v18) He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

This year will go down in the archives of our heart. As a believer we will not deny the faithfulness of our LORD Jesus. He has tested us BUT never has HE forsaken us. Satan and his demonic forces have attacked us BUT Jesus has not forsaken us. The world hates us but Jesus has not forsaken us. The Pandemic crisis is upon us BUT Jesus has not forsaken us. He has everything in the Power of His hand. When we are afraid as believers, we must believe that He has us in the palms of His hands.

David the psalmist wrote in Psalm 95:6-7 -  Oh come, let worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our maker. (7) For He is our GOD, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.

He’s got the whole world in His hands, He’s got you and me brother in His hands, He’s got the little tiny baby in His hands. He’s got the sun and the moon in His hands; He’s got the whole world in His hand.

Prayer: Abba Father in the name of my King of Glory Jesus I bow. It is a blessing to actual know that YOU have this whole world in your hands. You said it,  I believe it. When trials come my way help me to cling to your promise. You have me in the palm of your hand.
