This is My Father’s World

Scripture: (19:1 NKJ) The Heavens declare the Glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of His Hands.

I heard the lyrics to this ole favorite hymn this morning as I prepared breakfast. I am reminded of how I sang that hymn during my youth. I agreed with the writer then, and I agree today. This is my Father’s world speaks a truth that cannot be disputed. During my travel, I have witnessed many natural/awesome wonders that left me awe struct. Below: are a few stanzas that capsulize the title:

 Is my Father’s world:
 He shines in all that’s fair;
 In the rustling grass, I hear Him pass
 He speaks to me everywhere.
This is my Father’s world.
O let me n’er forget
At though wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the Ruler yet

The Lord God is the creator of everything.  The sunset displays His awesome beauty; the intricate design to every leaf and flower, shows His attention to details; The mighty winds and rolling seas reveal His power. The cool breeze on our brow , reveals His love. God has left His fingerprint on His handy work under the heavens. His handywork is all around us and He sustains all, all by Himself. The wonderful things said about the Father helps us to build our faith and trust Him as our creator God.

All of the wonderful things about the Father and His Word is perfect, sure, right, pure,  clean, enduring forever, true, and righteous – more desirable than gold, sweeter than honey – Hallelujah! Those descriptive words are also attributed to Jesus Christ -- the Word made flesh.
Prayer: Almighty God of this universe, You are so deserving of all of my praises --  from the rising of the sun, and throughout all of my waking hours. How can I not notice Your handiwork all around my being? In Jesus’ name. Amen
