Lost Lives Matter

Scriptures: Luke 19:1-10 -  Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. 4 So, he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6 So, he made haste and came down and received Him joyfully. 7 But when they saw it, they all complained saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” 8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone from false accusation, I restore fourfold.” 9 And Jesus said to him, today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

A lost life matters to God according to John 3:16 - For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believed in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. Matthew 18:11 -  For the Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was lost.

A lost life without Christ is a dangerous life.  Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way that seems right to a man But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 16;2 - All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes But the Lord weighs the spirit.

A lost life without Christ is blind and cannot comprehend the difference between good and evil. Isaiah 5:20 - Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; Who put darkness for light and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

A lost life wisdom is fleshly led 1 Corinthians 2:11 - For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no man knows the things of GOD except the Spirit of God.

A lost life is under the influence of demonic forces.  Ephesians 6:12 - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We as Christian believers must take heed to the scriptures and not be swayed from the truth found in the Word of God. Colossians 2:6-10 -  As you therefore have received Christ Jesus our Lord so walk in Him. 7  rooted and build up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ. 9 -  For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10  and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principalities and power.

Prayer: Eternal God in the matchless name of my king of glory I bow my heart to You my God who reigns forever. Forgive me for losing sight when it comes to witnessing to the lost. I once was lost but now I am found, was blind but now I see.
