"FRUITFULNESS", Never Out Of Season
SCRIPTURE: "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:4-5

Since 'The Fall', for the impact of sin, everything created now has an expiration date, and everything here has certain constraints put upon it due to the change of seasons, and our response to time. Everything, now made fragile, is available for ruin. But, God. There is an opportunity to thrive, and to contribute towards the enduring, as we abide, and that opportunity comes from His Spirit – fruitfulness. It is never out of season.
Fruitfulness invests in the eternal because it is God-driven and is God-given. It has no expiration date. Fruitfulness defies the limitations put upon us by Autumn, Winter, Spring, or Summer, and finds in their challenges, the open door for blessing, for anyone expressing it, and anyone receptive to it. It is the work of The Spirit. Yes, the Book of Acts continues through those continuing to heartily trust and obey [certainly, though imperfectly]! In Genesis, the call to be 'fruitful' and 'multiply' remains the clarion call for all who believe God! It is a spiritual calling exceeding the expanding of the populace.
The more deeply you relate to God, and the more you uncover His heart in your stuff, the more 'fruitful' you become. Now, the verse is not about produce, it's about those most meaningful qualities that pleases God, and builds others. Fruitfulness brings blessing, and blesses others. Put another way, 'You reap what you sow', [and you wear what you sew].
Fruitfulness begs the question, what is your 'love language'?
If our own fruitfulness comes from the Spirit, might we pose the same question to God? What is Your love language, Yahweh?
Thank You, Jesus for a love and faithfulness which changes everything! Thank You for a fruitfulness which is never 'out of season'. May our hearts be so inclined!
PRAYER: Lead us Heavenly Father to abide deeply, unto a God-pleasing fruitfulness, which uplifts humanity through a generational outpouring of service and hope, across the striving of many 'ones' on whose shoulders we stand, whose histories we honor. Glory to God. May grace blind us to all, but love, kinship, and the reach of righteousness which takes us to the message of 'the cross', a good fit for the natural 'man'. Jesus paid it all! Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord...

- Words of affirmation = God 'loves' unloveable-us! "God shows His LOVE for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us..." Romans 5:8
- Quality time = Thirty-plus years, [give or take nine months]. "And THE WORD was made flesh, and DWELT AMONG US, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
- Physical touch = God with us! "And behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years... And when JESUS SAW HER, he called her to Him, and said unto her, 'Woman thou art loosed from thine infirmity'. And He laid His hands on her: And immediately she was made straight, and glorified God." Luke 13:11-13
- Gifting = Mercy [blame assumed] & Grace [blessing brought]. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come unto condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24
- Acts of service = Righteous strain unto death, upon the cross for you and I. "And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying 'THIS IS MY BODY WHICH IS GIVEN FOR YOU: this do in remembrance of Me'. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the New Testament in MY BLOOD, which is SHED FOR YOU'." Luke 22:19-20
