Our Divine Handy-Man of Faith

SCRIPTURE: “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 
SCRIPTURE: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Looking out the window at the Lord’s creation,
There’s purpose, there’s provisions, and there’s patience.
 
Daily, He gives us just a little glimpse of His heavenly power, love, grace, and vision,
Seasons of light and darkness, joy and pain, hate and love, with supernatural purpose and precision.
 
The Lord is constantly available and our reliable Handy-Man,
All that’s behind and in front of us is prepared with His hands.
 
This Handy-Man is a Savior, Redeemer, Restorer, and Repairer,
He is a Way Waker, Builder, Keeper, Healer, and Sustainer.
 
He may not come when we want Him, but He is always on time,
His mission is to fix what’s broken so we can spiritually realign.
 
He desires us to call on Him exclusively with the belief that He will fix it,
He is a 24-hour live-in Handy-Man, not just for appointments and visits.
 
We have no idea what seasonal conditions and demands may bring,
So, we need a Savior to protect us from the heat, cold, storms, and rain.
 
We need a Handy-Man suitable to address our troubles, pain, trials, and sin,
The One who can correct, redirect, sustain, and encourage us appropriately within.
 
If we knew what to expect, we would assume the wrong role,
Seasons are rolled out unknowingly to reveal that we are not in control.
 
Spiritual maintenance requires a willingness to seek support for what’s broken,
Our faith, prayers, belief, and Bible are the tools that must be active and open.
 
He has given us a Helper and Comforter as a tool belt to carry and rely upon,
It stocks and surpasses supplies provided by Home Depot, Lowe’s, and beyond.
 
Even more, this divine Handy-Man comes in love to restore and make us new,
He sympathizes, forgives, provides, and protects to remodel who we are and what we do.
 
What this Handy-Man provides through His grace and mercy is readily attainable,
More importantly, in every season, His heavenly services are sufficient and available.
 
In sorrow, He is available - In trouble, He is available - During pain, He is available,
In brokenness, He is available - When uncertain, He is available – When fearful, He is available.
 
When fatigued, He is available – When grieving, He is available – When confused, He is available,
In our darkest moments, He is available - In highest moments, He is available – For the lost, He is available.
 
Prayer: Lord! Thank You for being available and reliable in the matters in our lives. In the matchless name of Jesus!
