SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

January 18th, 2026

SCRIPTURE: “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-11

Our Father in heaven, once again we humble our hearts before You as we open Your Word. We yield completely to the Holy Spirit, and we desire once again that He would do that mighty work with the Word in our hearts. Cause us, Lord, to understand what we need to understand and to be so moved in our hearts that we may be obedient in the many spheres of life in which we walk. Please have favor upon this servant that I may again speak in accordance to the Oracles of God and we’ll give You praise, and we’ll give you thanks, our Father for we ask this in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.

Spirit to spirit, and Heart to heart, God be with us in our start - to find within this dawn of day, the mind to rightly rise and pray. Let's find throughout our patient lift, the call of grace as utter gift, and take to it, aroused for praise, to fuel our walk now and always.
