JESUS is EXALTED
SCRIPTURE: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
Hebrews 1:3 says “…who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…” The Lord Jesus Christ is 100% God and 100% Man, the God-Man!!!
His emptying was an unquenchable, over-flowing, inexhaustible, exceedingly abundant climax of humiliation. Christ went to the depths of darkness and sin to obtain our salvation. Therefore, there is no height or depth of His exaltation. The exaltation was the reward for His humiliation. He was highly exalted; raised to the supreme position; exalted beyond measure. The whole Person of the Lord Jesus Christ was exalted to honor and power.
Prayer: Blessings and Honor and Glory and Power be to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. Amen!!!
