SCRIPTURE: “ not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
SCRIPTURE: “Love…7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13∶4-7
SCRIPTURE: “Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;”  Romans 12∶10
When I was young the only church I attended through my younger and older years was what we  considered our family church. The first members of my family to attend this church were my great grandparents, and then down through the generations. In fact, the only time I went to any other church was when I became a military wife and attended the chapels made available to the families. When I married Greg, I assumed I would continue going to my family church, but as our years started to build I realized just how important it was to attend service together. When I first decided to join and fellowship at Genesis, I continued to go to my family church, but as I listened and became educated about many important things at Genesis, I realized I didn’t agree with how things were being handled at the family church and made the very big decision to leave. I joined Genesis and to this day I continue learning so many things, and in addition I also came to realize the importance of attending church with my husband and any other family enabling us to share such an important and wonderful gathering.

We all should realize going to the same church helps the couple/family to grow closer to each other and God, along with the children learning about Jesus.
