SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior.” Isaiah 43:10-11
Father, we thank You once again for the grace that You make available to us and we thank You for the Word, for the entrance of it does give us light. It gives us light, understanding, and it brings us into an awareness of who You are in a greater way. For You reveal Yourself to us, You show us what we need to know. You give us not only history, but You give us facts. You give unto us experience so that we can place our faith on the totality of Your faithfulness, your character, believing that You are and that You are a rewarder of them that diligently seek You. So today as we gather in this place, it is truly a time of great challenge to us as a church, having to be separated in our fellowship, having to be creative in how we get the Word out. We give You honor and praise and we ask that You would do a great work of strengthening Your church in the midst of this time. This trying time that we are in would bring us to a greater confidence, a greater awareness that You are God and that nothing can shake the foundations of Your church. No matter what happens in this world, the foundation of God stands sure. Why? Because You have given us a seal and You know those that are Yours and everyone that names the name of Christ must depart from iniquity. So, bless now we pray these words to the people, amen and amen!
