SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

Father in heaven, we understand the seriousness of the times we live in. Certainly Father, there are so many, many, many who are just beat down even to the point where their faith is weary and they tend to be losing their excitement about the real Jesus. Some are making up a Jesus. We recognize Father, that to walk by faith and not by sight is to believe what You say, to embrace the truth of what You have said unto us. So, this day we pray that you would cause Your people to experience the joy of worshipping the real and true Jesus. That we would focus our attention on what His coming really meant, that we are delivered because He came, that we have a place reserved in heaven because He came. He came for those who belong to Him and we’re thankful today that we, who believe, can say that we belong to Him.  So I pray for the people of Genesis, I pray for the Body of Christ all over, Lord, that You might awaken, cause revival, do a major stirring of the hearts, cause us to rise above this spiritual fatigue, this slothfulness that has come across many people’s lives. Awaken us! Give unto us that enthusiasm that we once knew! That fire that burned, that passion that consumed us simply because we knew Jesus! Lord God, we’ll give You praise for it. We’ll give You all the glory for it for we ask it in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.
