Summer, and 'Winter’, and Springtime and Harvest
SCRIPTURE: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" Romans 8:35

"Summer, and Winter, and Springtime and Harvest ...join with all nature in manifold witness to Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love..." So goes a measure of that wonderful hymn, to remind us, all of us, that regardless of the season, even the Winter, there is a reason to pause in the thick of it, to dig deep, and give God the glory, the praise due Him, for His great faithfulness to usward. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand." John 10:27, 28
For the Springtime, Summer, and Harvest of our life's seasons, praise may be more naturally easy, but yes, even in the Winter of it, we must let our 'renewed minds' speak up to the rest of our being settling [or retiring] to Winter's ouch. We don't favor Winter because we can remember it, but at the same time, we can remember it because He took us through it. We remain. "My Father, which gave them to Me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. I, and My Father are One." John 10:29, 30
There were those Winters where we came out wearing our thickest parkas, sporting our best shovels, ear muffs on, hands gloved, and God said, 'Chill. I got his one.' [paraphrased] Having our grace calculator out, actually, we see many Winters to come and to go. And we can imagine the bad Winters we were spared, those that skipped us, that we helped others through. Maybe that is the point.
Let's praise Him! Amen! "In everything, give thanks!" 1 Thessalonians 5:18 There is His great Faithfulness. There is His great Mercy. There is His great Love. Oh, what an awesome and mighty God we serve! Thank You, Jesus, for overwhelming grace! "...in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us... neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39
PRAYER: Thank You, Lord-God, for such a grace as to meet us where we are, however we are, providing what we need when we need it. Even in 'Winter', we shall rejoice and be glad in it. Bless You! Amen! Brothers and Sisters, lace up your boots and dance! "... all to the glory of God!..."

Amen and Amen ??
Amen...Thank You Lord for Your grace and mercy toward us. We love and adore You...Amen.
Amen, Bro. Brockington! No matter the season (or circumstance), Scripture reminds us that to rejoice is a choice. It's an act of the will in many instances. Praise God!
Amen! Rejoice and again I say rejoice! He gave us the seasons for our enjoyment and His glory!
