A Lot Can Happen in Three Days (Never Give Up)

SCRIPTURES:
"Jesus answered and said to them, 'Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.' 20 Then the Jews said, 'It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?' 21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body." John 2:19-21

"For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." Matthew 12:40

"and they will mock Him, and scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.” Mark 10:34
For us, time is significant, but not as much in the Lord’s eyes,
Three days can reveal His power, and what He is capable of in our lives.

Although there may be suffering involved, He is with us,
Three days can expose our faith, belief, willingness, and trust.

Three days can reveal what our eyes are fixed on during trials,
Each has a purpose to establish and develop our spiritual profiles.

Hardship and trouble go hand in hand with the benefits of our faith,
Three days can disclose what’s hidden in our hearts that keeps us safe.

Three days can unveil what we hold on to as our support and anchor,
The obstacle we face will confirm who is Lord of our lives and Savior.

Sadly, we pull out a calculator to compute the timing of our droughts,
Knowing His timing is not ours, our steps are ordered for a way out.

How can I doubt a resume that’s impeccable which stands forever,
Old and New Testament miracles were demonstrated for us to remember.

There is no way I can give up, despite the suffering we see as an emergency,
The Lord has shown what He can do in three days for spiritual recovery.

Seeking Him every day, steadfast with believing in what He says,
Never ceasing to pray, while remaining obedient to His truth and ways.

What appears to be a lifetime for us doesn’t match with His timing,
He’s an on time God, all things work together for an upward alignment.

Consider, when Jesus destroyed the temple and in 3 days raised it up,
Consider, when Jonah spent 3 days and 3 nights in the whale before the Lord interrupted.

Consider, they mocked Jesus, scourge Him, spit on Him, and even killed Him,
The most important choice is, He never gave up, and rose in 3 days for our sins.

Never Give Up, A Lot Can Happen in Three Days

PRAYER: Lord! You are our Rock at the bottom, so even when we are rock bottom, giving up should not be an option. Those who know You personally have total access to Your power. Thank You for the Holy Spirit that’s always with us. We will continue to cast our cares upon You. In the name of Jesus! Amen
