SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” 2 Timothy 1:12
Father, we do rejoice in the fact that You have showered our lives with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Yet in our serious moments of meditation before You, we are mindful that You are better to us than we deserve. Once again as a people, we join our hearts together to say, “Thank You,” for we know in Whom we have believed and because of Your faithfulness, we are persuaded that You are able to keep that which we have committed unto You against any day, any day! You are a keeping God and we praise You for that! This day we have prayed that You would speak to every heart, that is my desire Lord, that the understanding of Your people would be personal. That their understanding would even be beyond my limited ability with words. That their faith may stand because You spoke, because the Word has given unto each one of us an anchor that will not fail to hold us and we praise You for that, in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.
