call him by his names

SCRIPTURES: "Accuser" Revelation 12:10;  "Adversary" 1 Peter 5:8;  "Roaring Lion" 1 Peter 5:8;  "Beelzebub" Matthew 12:24;  "Ruler of Demons" Mark 3:22; "Dragon" Revelation 12:3; "Evil one" John 17:15;  "God of this world" John 12:31 and 2 Corinthian 4:4; "Serpentine of old" Revelation 12:9;  "Tempter" 1 Thessalonians 3:5;  "Prince of the power of the air" Ephesians 2:2;  "The Devil" Matthew 4:1;  "Satan" 1 Timothy 5:15;  "The ruler of this wicked world" John 12:31;  "Father of Lies" John 8:44
We shall call this false king by his reputation and evil names,
Believers shall pray for heavenly justice as Christ's throne is claimed.

He is known as an "accuser" by destroying reputations and spreading evil around,
Thank You, Lord, for Revelation 12:10 assuring us that the "accuser" will be cast down.

He is called an "adversary" by going against what’s good to stand as our rival,
You remind us to be sober and diligent in 1st Peter chapter 5 verse 8 of the Bible.

Initially, he appears sweet and harmless, but he carries an everlasting taste that’s sour,
As he roams like a "roaring lion," the same scripture as above says he seeks to devour.

Matthew chapter 12 verse 24 refers to him as "Beelzebub," the prince of demons,
Dispersed and released for destruction according to his evil and intentional reasons.

After all, he is the "ruler of demons" described in Mark chapter 3 verse 22,
Yet even he will not dispute who the true ruler is, CHRIST, and His righteous rules.

He is identified by the name "dragon" described vividly in Revelation 12:3,
Symbolizing evil powers that oppose GOD with an evil plan that seeks authority.

He is exclusive with the appropriate name "evil one" depicted in John 17:15,
Yet, CHRIST our SAVIOR is assigned and appointed to protect us from his wicked schemes.

The name "god of this world" declares judgment in John chapter 12, verse 31,
This false king is a squatter, and soon to be cast by the one and only GOD, and SON.

The "serpent of old" in Revelation 12:9 was cast to the earth with his angels,
The devil and Satan continue to deceive the world, but little time is remaining.

Meanwhile, he continues to tempt us as the ultimate "tempter" in 1st Thessalonians 3:5,
Even Paul was concerned that the Thessalonians’ faith might be too shaken to thrive.

Yet, the "prince of the power of the air" in Ephesians 2:2 walks upon us,
The spirit of the sons of disobedience is deadly, but soon they’ll be taken from us.

In Matthew 4:1, the "devil" attempts to tempt JESUS in the wilderness,
What is written tames temptation, as the truth puts an end to this.

But 1st Timothy 5:15 describes how believers are going astray,
"Satan" attacks the weak and vulnerable, but our LORD never goes away

So now, "the ruler of this world" in John 12:31 is under judgment,
The verdict is that he will be cast out to accommodate the LORD'S adjustments.

John 8:44 says the "father of lies" has no truth in him,
Yet John 14:6 tells us our heavenly FATHER has nothing but truth in Him.

Therefore, I will glorify my LORD until He occupies His rightful place to reign,
Meanwhile, this murderer, thief, and liar, I will continue to call him by his names!

PRAYER: Lord! You know Satan’s names and ways. Thank You for providing Your truth and promises to contend. Certainly, we need to be prepared for his evil tactics. But I am reminded about Your Holy names Alpha and Omega, Lamb of God, Christ, Son of Man, Bread of Life, Advocate, Immanuel, Light of the World, Redeemer, Son of God, Good Shepherd, Word, God, and Head of the Church. You are King of Kings and Lord of Lords! In the names of Your Son, amen.
