Frustration

SCRIPTURE: “Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
To me this verse means, no matter how frustrated you are, God will always protect you and give you strength. Most importantly, He will never ever leave you.

Have you ever been frustrated about unmet expectations, inability to achieve goals, financial struggles, health problems, relationship challenges, feeling stuck or unsure about the choices you make, difficult situations, traffic delays, long lines, or things breaking down like your car? Well, if you have, then don’t worry God has your back.  I have been frustrated over little things like when I draw and I mess up or when I play games on my phone, like Roblox. It’s been times when I’ve asked my dad for something and he says, “No,”  and I will ask my mom and she will say, “No” too. It’s like they read each other’s minds.

After Covid, I found myself getting frustrated. I would get angry, upset, mad, sad, and/or depressed easily. God helped me to realize he is always here for me. I have a great support system. My mom, dad, my sister, her kids. My grandma, and my Pop Pop. I have aunts and uncles. I have my awesome God parents, God brothers, and a God sister. I belong to a God fearing church with awesome teachers! I serve a BIG GOD! When I get frustrated, I can always talk to my family and Jesus. Most importantly, Jesus because no one else knows how I feel, but GOD. Jesus knows how I feel and what I am going through first, so there's no more room for negative spaces in my head.

PRAYER: Dear God, I just want to give all of my frustrations, problems, and pain to You.
I need Your help to stay on the right path whenever I get distracted. Lord, You know me, and You know my heart. Amen.

Amen Sis. Paige. Recognizing that this is not our home, means appreciating the normal space for having frustration, but also that going through it we have God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, God the Son as intercessor, assigned angels, and an available earth-based, heavenly-minded family of saints, along with the counsel of God's word to usher us along the way. Praise God, the deck is stacked favorably, both here and now, as well as eternally, in Christ. Thanks for your reflections! May the joy of the Lord be your strength.
